Peeping Tom's into homes at a thousand year old village

...or should we say "Peking Tom's" :) What is it really like to live in a village that partially dates back over a thousand years? We decided to find out and set out on foot to this ancient village. We were able to peek into the homes of the residents to see a tiny glimpse into real China life. This makes us so thankful for the comforts we enjoy and often take for granted.

The village was situated along the river and residents were spotted washing clothes in the river water. Most were friendly, and seemed to enjoy seeing "foreigners" as much as we enjoyed seeing them! Enjoy the pictures.
